Hello! My name is Sahana, and I mainly tutor math and science, but I have also tutored middle school English literature. I am a senior in high school, and I have completed AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Calculus AB with the highest score (5) on the exams. I tutor one-on-one with students and teach them basic essay techniques, grammar, literature composition, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus AB, and biology concepts.
I teach concepts and highlight to students the value of note-taking because proper notes can help in information recall on tests if organized well. Structured and compartmentalized learning can benefit students who don't feel confident about a subject.

I also tutor specialty subjects, for example, biotechnology and biochemistry. I have a background in working with professors from Emory School of Medicine, Georgia Institute of Technology, and UC Davis School of Medicine on projects and journal articles. This personal study also helps me enhance my knowledge of biology since I get to apply the techniques I learn. This in turn helps me teach concepts to students.
