Hello! My name is Reilly and I am currently a senior at Dartmouth College. My major is in Quantitative Social Science (a very research heavy degree that I have loved). I have over 4 years of experience working with students in various capacities: mentoring at risk students on the college process, tutoring high school Geometry, Algebra, and ACT/SATs, and even being an assistant teacher in a childcare center. In college I have maintained a 3.8 GPA, have been in my class honor group, and am currently working on my honors thesis. In high school, I was a National Merit Scholar Finalist, received a 35 on the ACT, and graduated with a 4.7 GPA.
I love seeing students have that light bulb moment where they get the concept they have been struggling with after so much time. I know how daunting school can be when you start to get into higher level classes and worrying about standardized testing. I'd love to be here to make the process easier for you! My tutoring style adapts to my student's learning style. In our first session, we will have a conversation about what experiences you have had with tutoring in the past. I think it's important to know what worked for you and what didn't. Additionally, I like to focus more on the process of solving problems, rather than just getting the right answer.
