I have been a teacher for seven years. I taught math (Algebra 1, Algebra 1a, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus) for three years and I am in my fourth year of teaching K-12 special education. I love to think outside the box and make learning work for everyone! I have one year of online tutoring experience.

I love finding that moment when you get to be awesome! Tutoring gives me that satisfaction of the "ah-ha" moment. Sometimes, all you need to succeed is to hear things a different way (or hear the same thing in a different voice!). I love watching students finally catch that concept that they have been looking for!

I have experience teaching Algebra 1 and Algebra 1a (a pre-Algebra course) in a classroom setting for three years. I have worked with a lot of common core and elementary math in my work as a Special Education teacher. I am familiar with the Singapore math curriculum for grades K-6.
