As a lecturer I have taught in the history department, the African & African American Studies department, the Women & Gender Studies department, and a college planning seminar for incoming first year students. Because both Women & Gender Studies and African American Studies are interdisciplinary in nature, I'm well read in many other disciplines including Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, and literature. History is my true love. My Bachelor's and Master's experience taught me the art and craft of critical reading and writing.
