I have an active interest in language acquisition and cultural rituals/norms, exhibited by my effort to acquire more than my native language, and my numerous community volunteer and board positions related to education. I have experience teaching children through adults in the areas of therapuetic arts, cooking, nutrition, English as a Second Language, introductory Spanish and basic life skills. My hobbies include: cooking, gardening, reading, traveling and playing Mahjong. I have spent many years in Kansas however I am a Colorado native and have lived in both Hawaii and Paraguay.
