Hello, my name is Heather. Thank you for stopping by my page.

I am currently a full time community college instructor in biology, anatomy and physiology, and psychology. I have a masters degree in biology, psychology, and sociology and have been teaching for 19 years. I have taught Anatomy and Physiology, General Biology (majors and non-majors) General Psychology, and Social Psychology as well as various other courses.

I do well with students who ask questions, have example problems, or review questions for us to go over. If have a topics you want to review or ask about, I can give a complete overview of a topic if asked in advance. I have over 90 hours experience tutoring biology at the community college level and AP High School Biology.

I can help prepare students for standardized exams including the HESI, TEAS, and AP Biology exams. For the standardized exams I will provide a study overview, and review questions that we can go over together. While going over these questions, I will explain any answer that the student does not understand.

Please be advised that there is no fee for re-scheduling a session but if you missed a scheduled session I charge a $20 cancellation fee.

I can help edit a paper, help with formatting or help organize the paper. I can help work example problems like the ones you have for homework. But I cannot give you answers for anything you have to turn in for a grade.
