As a native Spanish speaker I am able to offer the best practice opportunities and tools for students who wish to continue to improve upon developing their language skills. Speaking and writing skills will be reinforced and new techniques will be tailored for your specific needs. On top of this I will provide extended exploration in Spanish culture through reading authentic materials including short stories, newspaper articles, and magazines and a variety of opportunities for listening in a native setting.

I love nothing more than teaching, and I am always looking for opportunities to help foster a learning environment. As a former High School Spanish teacher, I have helped prepare thousands of students for Local and State Exams particularly the Checkpoint B Final. Throughout the years I have accumulated a 99% passing rate with my own students, and through private tutoring sessions. Along with helping students improve their scores and reach their own potential within the language.

I am bilingual in Spanish/English with multi-cultural experience. I have twelve-years of teaching experience, a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish Adolescence Education from the College of Saint Rose and Masters of Arts in Teaching Union College. I have been teaching at the high school level for 9+ years and have experience teaching at the middle school level and enrichment programs for elementary students.
