I am the author of two published books. One is presently under option to Leonardo Di Caprio's film company. Discovery Channel made me the subject of a documentary. I am former President of the New Orleans Commodity Exchange, Executive Vice President of an Investor magazine, and senior tutor and lecturer in Saigon. I have lectured at several universities including the European Business School, Insead Business School in France, been an early commentator in the 1960s on the fledgling Financial News Network, now CNBC. I believe my proprietary teaching techniques combine the best of TESOL and ESL and have produced excellent results in both verbal and where required, written skills for students whose primary language is other than English. I have tutored and lectured in Vietnam and in Thailand. Please see subjects I have qualified in with WyzAnt.

I served as a paratrooper in the French Foreign Legion from 1958-62 in Algeria, one of only two Americans serving in the First Regiment Parachutists. (1er REP).

I speak some French, have tri-nationality and have lived and worked all over the world.

Public Speaking

I have lectured at the European Business School, (Insead) in France, taught at Oxford Poly in the UK and have lectured using TEFL in Saigon to primarily post secondary school students. There was a great deal of emphasis on public speaking, as ESL courses encourage students as part of the curriculum to present a five minute presentation to the class on an assigned subject. I gave individual as well as group instruction on preparation and presentation.
