I always thrived in math classes throughout middle school and high school, but miss the subject now that my college degree does not require any math classes. I was able to help many classmates in high school with learning various concepts in Algebra and Geometry. I have a significant amount of knowledge on general introductory science subjects (Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology). Throughout my academic experience, I have learned that it is important to teach so that the student understands the concept, not just knows it. Additionally, not everyone learns the same way. What works for one student might not work for another. While babysitting for friends and family, I have offered some grade school homework help.
