I was originally a school music teacher, and taught all band instruments grades 5-12 for ten years. The guitar, however, is my primary instrument, and I have been teaching private guitar students since the 1970's. Since leaving the teaching profession, I have tutored music, mathematics, and Spanish. In addition, I am now a CAD technician and am well able to tutor AutoCAD.

Knowledgeable and patient clarinet instructor
After several lessons, Al has been very patient with my 11 year old daughter during her clarinet lessons. He noticed that she needed a different size reed and was puffing out her cheeks when attempting to play right away. Al was able to help her correct it quickly when other instructors never pointed it out to her. In another lesson, we had a web cam issue and he was able to roll with it and still continued the lesson. She has really enjoyed her lessons so far and is always excited for the next one.
