My teaching style is to have multiple ways of explaining a topic. This way I can see what method of learning is best for the student. To me when a student does not understand it is a challenge and I will work my hardest to help them understand.
I have taught all high school levels of Chemistry from special education to advanced honors. Chemistry has always been my favorite science from when I was in high school and later as I earned my degree in it in college.
Early on I worked in industry but I knew that I wanted to teach. Obtaining a Masters degree in education helped me solidify my goal.
I have always believed that anyone can learn anything given the right teacher. I have strived to be that person for my students. I want to help them succeed and gain confidence in their own abilities through those successes.
