I offer professional, one-on-one tutoring in a huge array of academic subjects -- math, English, philosophy, the hard sciences, test prep (e.g., SAT, GRE and LSAT) and more.

With fifteen years of experience studying college-level subjects, I have taught in classrooms at UT and tutored at the grade-school, college, and post-college levels.

I scored 155+ on a professionally administered IQ test, started college at age fourteen, graduated there at the top of my class, and made a perfect score on the GRE on my first try. I've earned double Master's degrees, the first from Duke University and the second from the University of Texas.

Fantastic tutor. Looking forward to future lessons.

Richard is an amazing tutor. Due to my geographic location I require video lessons and Richard the system down. We spoke about a timeline to complete the GRE and set up a schedule to review coursework for our next lesson. We were able to lay out a plan of how long it is going to take to prepare for the GRE and he was able to help me with my math, which I have always struggled with and been away from for a while. The lessons being online did not make math any more difficult to learn. I feel extremely confident that with Richard's help I will be ready for the GRE in time and I look forward to continuing lessons.

Incredible intellect, incredible teacher

Richard is one of those tutors you meet who immediately strikes you not only for his incredible intellect but for his outstanding teaching capabilities. I've run into my fair share of brainiacs who couldn't teach to save their lives. Richard is certainly not one of these. His polished style forced me to slow down, get to the root of the problems we discussed, and figure out the quickest and most effective way forward. He has an effective system which I can already tell is making my work on practice problems faster and more accurate. His in-depth focus on the GRE make him a perfect choice for anyone studying for this test in particular.
