I have a BA in Social Science from UNC Greensboro. I work for Rowan Cabarrus Community College as an English and writing tutor. I love my job and the work I do with my students and I have only received positive feedback. I have oodles of time off and would love to spend that time continuing what I love- working one-on-one with students in the subject I love most: English!

I work best with examples and I find that most of my students love that! For each rule with which you're unfamiliar, I like to use real world applications to make you understand it better.

I am very personable and completely understand a student's shyness and lack of confidence when it comes to the area they struggle with most. I believe that my background in psychology helps me to be empathetic and allows an openness of communication to flow between the student and myself.
