Hello, welcome. I have been teaching in outdoor and indoor classroom settings for the past six years. I am tutoring because I find joy in sharing knowledge and helping people succeed. With a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Michigan, I have a thoughtful and observant approach to tutoring. I patiently help students build off of prior understanding into new and more complex ideas.

I worked as a lead instructor at Wilderness Awareness School and Northwest Outdoor School, and teaching assistant/substitute teacher at Walden Green Montessori. Most recently I’ve worked as a senior II guide at Open Sky Wilderness Therapy, where in addition to mentoring co-guides I taught yoga, meditation, coping skills, and wilderness skills to students.
