I love History and Social Studies I have taken almost every History class at Eastern Michigan University and also at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI, where I received my Associate Degree in History and Social Studies I helped set study groups for members of my class that needed help. I love reading especially anything that has a historical basis and my favorite channel is the History Channel. When helping my fellow classmates I go through the study sheet and make flashcards for every term listed along with facts that I come across on the internet and in textbooks. To me history is everything and it is from History that we learn to make our futures better. I am not strict but I do require that students make sure they bring everything to their sessions which usually lasts for 2 to 3 hours depending on how much they help they need. If a test is coming up the sessions can be longer if needed. I can meet at the local library or a restaurant where there is Wifi access if needed.
I also offer assistance on research papers and book reports and am willing to offer extra sessions to those that feel they need extra help. Students are free to call me if they have any questions while studying but should not abuse that privilege. I will not help a student cheat and any thing we go over in study sessions should not be used to do so and will result in consequences to be determined by parents and tutor and will be implemented immediately. I love helping students get good grades but getting those grades will not be easy and a willingness to work hard is important.
