Hi, I'm Michael!

This Fall I will be starting medical school, but, believe it or not, learning was not always easy for me. I would spend hours and hours pouring over material, but it seemed like no matter what I did, I was still struggling to keep up. Then, in my second year of college, I found my study group. Suddenly I was not alone. The opportunity to talk through concepts that I was struggling with and to learn tips and tricks from those around me transformed my study habits and made learning fun again. I went from struggling to keep up to scoring at the top of my class. My goal is to help students like my study group helped me -- to share all of the tips and tricks I have learned over the years and to work through those tricky concepts until they know them inside and out!

A graduate of the my High School IB Program, I attended Florida State University, where I was accepted into the Honors College and graduated with a degree in Philosophy. I then went on to complete my post-bacc studies in Biomedical Science at the University of Central Florida, where I spent three years as a teaching assistant in the Human Physiology Lab, helping upper-level undergraduates master the intricate processes of the human body. After a year as a researcher in the Emergency Department at Orlando Regional Medical Center, I knew that medicine was the career for me. In my years at UCF, I've worked with thousands of students and I have learned to individualize my approach to meet the needs of each student's unique learning style.

My goal is to tailor every lesson to the specific needs of each student in order to make learning as easy as possible. Any resources or suggestions that parents or students would like to provide are absolutely welcome. I am easy to reach and always strive to respond in a timely manner.
