Hello! My name is Amy and I am a former kindergarten teacher of eight years! I currently care for children in my own home and have been looking for more outlets to share my love of teaching.

I am a graduate of King’s College where I received my degrees in both Elementary Education and Early Childhood. I quickly then graduated with my Master’s in Reading and a Reading Specialist certification from Gwynedd-Mercy University. My educational background is a compilation of what I love to do with my own time: play with children and read. I find the early stages of reading absolutely fascinating and could spend hours in the children’s section of the library with my own two children.

I really enjoy spending time with little ones and finding ways to help them learn new concepts while exploring the world around them hands-on. Every child is different and every person learns in a different way, and I cannot wait to work with you and your child in creating the best learning support system for them!
