I am Veronica! I hold a Master's in Latin American History and have spent my life traveling and teaching all over the world (from Cusco, Peru to Topeka, Kansas). I am currently based in Cleveland. As someone who learned to speak Spanish as an adult, I know how difficult learning a new language can be. I only succeeded in my language goals because I had teachers along the way who were kind, patient, helpful, and fun. As a current high school English teacher, I embody these simple values in every one of my lessons. I teach through art, music, media, and games! My classrooms are comfortable environments where students can make mistakes, take risks, and practice English in an immersive environment.

I am TEFL certified, and have two years of ESL teaching experience from my time in Cusco, Peru. I have taught in elementary school classrooms, culinary school, colleges and universities, and even train stations! I worked as an ESL Teacher with students ages 7+ as groups and privately. I have been teaching engaging classes both online and face-to-face. When I was a graduate student at the University of Toledo, I taught History courses to both beginner and advanced students. I held office hours once per week, where I helped students' writing sparkle! I am an experienced academic editor and writer who loves every step of the process.

I want my students to realize their full English language potential!
