Bio

Thomas B. has been an active Archaeologist, Anthropologist, and folklorist for over 25 years. He has performed excavations and surveys in Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado, California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Ohio, Cornwall UK, Ireland, and Italy. He has also worked as a field school supervisor in Cornwall, was a Curator, GiS Manager, and Field Archaeologist for 5 years at Fort Carson Military Reservation in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Thomas B. has been an active Archaeologist, Anthropologist, and folklorist for over 25 years. He has performed excavations and surveys in Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado, California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Ohio, Cornwall UK, Ireland, and Italy. He has also worked as a field school supervisor in Cornwall, was a Curator, GiS Manager, and Field Archaeologist for 5 years at Fort Carson Military Reservation in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Thomas B. is qualified under the Secretary of the Interior as an Archaeologist, graduate studies, excavations, pedestrian surveys, lab work, flotation and screening, faunal analysis, ArcGIS, Data management, archive management, and conservation. He has worked for the National Park Service Southeastern Archaeological Center, the Fort Carson Cultural Resource Management Program, and many other independent contract companies.

Thomas B. is a native born English speaker, U.S. Citizen, and has raised two children fully teaching them English from birth to adult.

I have conducted all aspects of archaeological fieldwork specializing in surveys, excavations, curation, and artifact analysis in Washington, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Ohio, Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Italy, England, and Ireland. I have authored and contributed to numerous assessments for cultural resource reports and documents for California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) environmental impact reports (EIR), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) environmental impact statements (EIS), NEPA environmental assessments (EA), Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) compliant documents, Memorandum for Record Army Reports (MFR), and Wildland Fire Impact Reports on Cultural Resources. I am a Professional Archaeologist under Secretary of Interior (SOI) and DoD (Department of Defense) Standards for Archaeology serving as archaeologist for projects reviewed by U.S. Department of Defense – U.S. Army, Colorado State Historic Preservation Office, and the Army Corp of Engineers. I have over 10 years of experience with ArcGIS, data analysis, and graphic arts. I currently hold a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with minor study of Southeastern Archeology, Classical Archaeology, Folklore, and Criminology and am near completion of a Master of Arts degree in the same from Florida State University.
