I worked at ETS (Educational Testing Service) for many years, so I know a thing or two about testing. I am well-versed in the intricacies of high stakes tests like the Praxis, SAT, and the ACT. I not only know and understand the subject matter, but I know the ins and outs of how to take and beat any test. Knowing how to beat a test is a skill, and when you take the ACT and Praxis tests, the test makers are testing your ability on how well you take a test, not how good a student you are. I...

Knowing how to beat a test is a skill, and when you take the ACT and Praxis tests, the test makers are testing your ability on how well you take a test, not how good a student you are. I am extremely skilled at taking tests, and I want to instill this in my students. Miracle worker!

Rae was amazing! I had to take the Praxis math exam and a passing score was 150 (math has always been a hard subject for me). I had taken the exam 3 times already and all 3 times I got a score of 146-failing. I finally decided to get a tutor and Rae was great. She brought her own materials, asked me what I needed the most help with and we went over practice problems. She really knows her stuff and makes sure that you understand it. She even sent me practice things to work on at home by myself and then we reviewed it when I met with her again. She is punctual, helpful, resourceful, patient, smart and I ended up passing with a score of 168. My score went up 22 points after my tutoring sessions with her. Had I taken the exam again and NOT met with Rae, I'm sure I wouldn't have passed. She was great and I highly recommend her!

Miracle Worker!

Rae is amazing and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of getting to work with Rae while I was preparing for the Elementary Praxis Science Subtest (5005). I had already taken this subtest twice and was taking it for the third time. I needed some help from someone who was knowledgeable in the content matter of the test and Rae was nothing short of that. She is very friendly and makes the sessions fun. She gave me tons of study materials and practice tests to help me prepare for the Praxis. I took the Praxis and passed 14 points higher than before. I couldn’t have done it without her. She was very motivating and assured me that I knew what I was doing and had nothing to worry about going into the test. I would recommend anyone who is taking the Praxis to work with her. She is amazing!!

After so many failures, Rae helped me succeed!

After taking the elementary social studies praxis exam 5004 multiple times throughout the past year I have had no success in passing I‎t. I went to multiple tutors through this app and through outside sources and still no luck. All I‎t took was two sessions with Rae for me to finally pass. Her knowledge about the exam itself and the study sources she had were above all others. She knows so much about history itself and was able to link everything in a way I could understand and remember! I wish I found her sooner!

Great Praxis Tutor!

Rae was a great tutor for the Elementary Praxis and helped me feel a lot more confident taking a standardized test. I have never been tutored before and I was very hesitant to do so. However, she prepared me with many testing materials including flash cards, practice quizzes, and facts. She is very knowledgeable about the Praxis subjects and provided a lot of her own knowledge into the tutoring session. She responded to my emails very quickly and was on time to every session. It was very easy to keep in contact with her and she was always available to meet when I needed her. I would recommend Rae as a tutor to anyone who needs content help! I have successfully passed the Praxis area I needed and felt it was because of the great amount of information she provided for me.

Knowledgeable and dedicated!

Rae was wonderful. Though I am a strong student, standardized tests are always a challenge. The Praxis was no different. Rae was very thorough during our initial contact. She took the time to understand what my needs were. We met a few times and Rae emailed practice tests to me prior to meeting and also made study guides for me to use at home. Her experience working for the testing services was very helpful. For the first time, I walked into a testing setting feeling prepared and confident. I will definitely use her again!
