I'm Lori, and I love writing! I spent nearly 10 years teaching writing at all levels from elementary to high school. I believe everyone can learn to write and write well. All it takes is understanding the writing process and letting yourself have some fun with the words you put on the page.

With Bachelors degrees in Journalism and History and a Master's degree in Library Science, my unique combination of skills and experiences allows me to help with writing, research, and creating the connections necessary to help you build compelling essays and stories.

Whether you struggle with structuring an essay, need help forming just the right way to say something, aren't sure how to finish that creative writing project, or have trouble turning a blank page into anything with words on it, I can help. In addition to my teaching experience, I am also a freelance writer and editor with more than two decades of experience. It doesn't matter if you need to write an email or a college essay, I promise, I've done it and can teach you how to do it, as well.

If you're trying to write that perfect college or scholarship essay, I have experience there, too. Students I have worked with have earned full-ride scholarships, been accepted to professional schools, and gotten into the colleges of their choice.
