My experience with teaching reaches back to my childhood years. My younger sister frequently asked for my assistance with a whole range of projects: science experiments, math problems, personal essays, and more. In more recent years, I have continued to pursue my role as an educator through numerous avenues. I have three years of formal experience as a tutor in topics relating to psychology, neuroscience, and biology. Additionally, I have one year of experience as a graduate biology instructor at the college level.
I believe that education is the cornerstone of a prosperous life. Success in school is important for establishing a bright future, but sometimes people need a little extra help! That’s why I take pride in my role as a tutor.
I am a doctoral student at Utah State University studying neuroscience. I have a great deal of passion for science and love sharing this passion with my students. Many people consider science to be a difficult and daunting subject, but I believe that with the right teacher, science can be fun!
