Originally graduating Towson University (Maryland) with a bachelor's degree in economics, I held a position on the NY Mercantile Exchange as an EFP trader for crude oil, heating oil, and unleaded gas futures for 5 years before returning to school to become a teacher. I started coaching middle and high school mathematics while pursuing my second bachelor's degree from Kean University. During my 3rd year I also jumped into SAT Coaching as well. I graduated from Kean University (New Jersey) in 2012 with a Degree in Math Education with my teaching certificate and my specialization of 'highly qualified mathematics'.
Fast forward to today and I now have over a decade of classroom experience as a teacher of Mathematics along with close to 15 years of math coaching experience. I am currently enrolled in a master's/doctoral program; upon graduating I will have a masters degree in math education and a doctoral degree in curriculum and assessment in mathematics. It has always been a goal of mine to provide students with the most effective lessons to lead them toward mastery of the concepts they will see in their classroom.

Tutoring is very reactive while math coaching is pre-emptive. My weekly rate includes our 1 hour session together, teacher made notes to help you in your progress, and weekly videos on upcoming topics you have have to get a jump start before your class enters the topic.
