I'm Ashunda. I've been an English teacher for over a decade. I've taught English Literature (AP), Creative Writing-Poetics, Drama, Humanities and Journalism. I've tutored secondary high school learners, college students and adult learners. Tutoring is a great experience because I get to help people improve in a particular skill that will help them in their future endeavors.

I have over a decade of experience teaching and tutoring in English Literature, Reading, Proofreading, Essay Writing, Creative Writing and SAT prep. I do everything I can to make learning a pleasant experience using fun, exciting creative teaching materials. I alter my methods according to student need and comfort level. Students get time to practice on their own, feel confident in the lesson and retain the information in preparation for their classes.

My aim is to benefit the students that I work with as much as possible and welcome any resources or suggestions students and parents can provide.
