I am an Indiana licensed teacher passionate about Montessori and outdoor education. I have 11+ years experience as an educator at a Montessori school where I also served as the reading specialist. In 2022 I opened The Montessori Field School, which is a Montessori-inspired nature-immersion pre-school. I have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education, Montessori credentials for ages 3-12, and Reading Specialist certification (including dyslexia intervention). I'm also a mom of two small and wonderful children.

I have years of experience as an elementary Montessori teacher. I love developing rapport with the children I work with and being a joyous observer of their progress!

My extensive experience and training as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and tutor allow me to provide optimal support for struggling readers.

The Montessori Method has an amazing process for supporting children with developing their phonics abilities. This foundation, supported by my training as a reading specialist, makes me well-equipped to support children in this area.

Reading, phonics, and spelling all go hand-in-hand! I have the skills and experience to help children in all of these areas.
