Hi my name is Derrick and I am currently an educator in a Pennsylvania High School. I am currently in my fourth year teaching. I have offered tutoring to my students in middle and high school levels. I have plenty of experience in teaching American History 1, World History, and Civics and Economics. I graduated from my University Cum Laude with a dual major in History and Social Studies Education. I love tutoring and teaching for the same reason. I love helping my students who are struggling in an area of social studies be able to figure out a difficult problem. That moment when the "light bulb" comes on is the best feeling. I also have some experience in Criminal Justice as I studied Criminal Justice at the Community College level.

I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Cum Laude with a dual major in History and Secondary Education. I am going into my 4th year teaching. I am currently teaching at a school district in Pennsylvania. I am currently teaching World Geography 8, American History 3, PA History, and Psychology/Sociology. I have previously taught for two years in North Carolina teaching Civics and Economics, World History, and American History 1. I also spent a year in Arizona teaching Middle School American History 1.
