About Ashley

Bio

My name is Ashley B. and I have been teaching or tutoring math for 20 years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Math Education from Oakwood University, where I discovered my love for teaching and tutoring all ages. I’ve also spent time teaching abroad and working with underprivileged children in Africa and South America. I’ve taught middle and high school, always offering after school tutoring for all those in need. I feel I have found my calling in tutoring 1-on-1 and small groups.

I have a strong love for seeing the huge impact I can have on my students. I love the outdoors and enjoy sharing all the ways math is seen our day to day lives. I have a love for math. A love for people. And an even greater love for sharing a fun way of learning math with all those around me.

I use all that I have learned in the 20+ years that I’ve been tutoring along with truly caring about the success of my students.
