I’m currently teach a financial literacy class to students ranging from 1st grade to college graduates and I am a “Seven Habits of Highly effective People” facilitator for adults and teens.

I instinctively observe each student’s learning style, motivation and the way they think to help maximize the student’s strengths while improving upon their weaknesses.

I currently work at an insurance company in the IT department (12 years) as a network administrator. I work on servers as well as PC (hardware and software). This experience has allowed me to master general computer building and repairing computers, optimizing hard drive storage, removing spyware, malware and viruses, teaching Microsoft office, correcting internet connection issues, email, etc. In today's fast-paced society, it is critical for people to gain skills in general computer usage. The internet is an incredible source of information - information that may have once been inaccessible by some people. I love to help people take advantage of the resources provided to us by computers.

Algebra 1,

Algebra 1

I have helped students understand every math subject from prealgebra through algebra, discrete math, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus. Often, when a student is having challenges in math, it is because one or two concepts slipped by, or weren’t taught properly. This makes the next concept more difficult, and pretty soon a student can be overwhelmed. I will quickly help you get caught up, and then help you get ahead, so that your math classes will be like review sessions instead of just going through the motion.
Physics,

Physics

I am tutoring several students in high school and college physics. Physics can be difficult to understand, and it is easy for a student to fall behind. Once a student falls behind, it can be virtually impossible to catch up without help. If you are falling behind, I can help you catch up and learn what you need to know to pass; if you are willing to do some work, I can help you excel.

Miracle Worker

My son was in danger of losing his financial aid in college because he could not pass the required math class. Jerrett took the time to help him really understand what he was learning and build a good foundation for his next step. Not only did my son pass the class, he passed with an A! He was even able to help another student. The decision to have private tutoring was well worth it. Without the frustration and stress of trying to learn on his own, he was able to concentrate on his other classes. It was the difference between dropping out of school and going on to get his degree. I can't recommend Jerrett enough.

His first lesson was going over fractions. He was knowledgeable and patient with my son. It was nice getting worksheets to reinforce the lesson. Looking forward to the next lesson.
