Hi. My name is Diane B. I am a NYS licensed speech language pathologist, have my CCCs from the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and certified teacher of the speech and hearing handicapped. I worked at an integrate preschool for 5 years, a local school district for 5 years, the McEvoy Center (BOCES) for 10 years, and am currently working at another local school district.
I have had experience working with students of various ages and disabilities. I have had extensive training and professional development in many areas including but not limited to PECS, Proloquo2go, Dynavox, and Social stories. I have had diverse experience in working with students with disabilites which has provided me with extensive knowledge regarding strategies for behavior management and treatment techniques for speech and language disorder.
I have also had several students that I have worked on reading with. Reading and writing are considered language learning disabilities and therefore part of my graduate program was these types of disabilities.
I love working with students and have a passion for teaching!
