Outstanding!
Jennifer, 18 lessons with SaraSara has been invaluable for our needs. She was always very prompt, extremely professional, incredibly smart and reliable. She taught my daughter new ways to think about verbal and reading comprehension. I could never have done as good a job as she did in helping assist my daughter with the SSAT studying process. I will definitely use her in the future. She deserves an A+!!!!

Patient teacher
I really appreciated Sara's attention to my son. She spent the extra time needed to help figure out some hard questions.

Not committed.
We had high expectations for Sara. We had gotten in touch with her about tutoring a high school student staying at our home as he was preparing to take the TOEFL exam. After our first lesson, Sara responded with willingness and enthusiasm about working with our student but despite our initial agreement to meet three times a week, Sara was unable to keep to her agreement and e-mailed stating that she is no longer available to work with our student due to the long drive. Although she had begun working with our student knowing where we live, displaying no issue with the drive initially (Sara teaches in town so we suggested that she come over one day during the weekday after she is done with her work at school), and all of this three weeks before our student is scheduled to take the exam, we were very shocked to receive her e-mail which contained limited explanation and absolutely no consideration of our situation. Our student was already very anxious about the exam, but not having a tutor distressed him all the more. We hired a tutor with the expectation that the tutor would be committed to teaching and helping our student learn. However, that was not the case with Sara. Fortunately, we were able to find another tutor through WyzAnt who is now working with our student but the two weeks that we lost in trying to schedule time with Sara and waiting for her e-mails is time not to be regained.
Joyce, 1 lesson with SaraTutor responded:As a full time teacher, I clearly noted that I could do weekends only. As I teach until 2:30 the student was not available until 4 p.m. Meeting during the week was not going to be feasible, so I did not want any time wasted where they could find another tutor that could accommodate their needs. At any rate, for the session I met with the student, I did expose him to what the TOEFL test was as he had not any prep materials nor knew what was on the test.
Excellent lesson! Very organized and really helpful!
Sara started the lesson by figuring out my daughter learning style and organization skills. My daughter took all the suggestions and it already showed on grades in class and home work. Sara taught her different strategies to apply during tests and home studding. We are very pleased with Sara’s work and I’m sure my daughter will benefit a lot from the lessons.
