Knowledgable, patient tutor that exceeds expectations
Ethan helped me with my application, specifically my personal statement and other essay questions, for a masters program in London. Having previously studied in the UK, he was extremely knowledgeable about the best language to use and what these universities are looking for in an applicant. He did line-by-line edits and bounced around ideas with me about the actual content. Ethan is intelligent, positive, and does not waste time during sessions. The thing that sets Ethan apart is his genuine care for the success of his students. He went above and beyond for me aside from tutoring like introducing me to other students he knew at the university I was applying to through LinkedIn, being available whenever I needed him including last minute sessions, and did extra research on the university that he did not have to do just to be more prepared. Overall, great person and tutor. Honored to have worked with him and made a friend throughout the process.

Ethan is quite a thoughtful, empathic, patient and skilled tutor. My daughter needed help writing essays for a summer internship. Ethan asked my daughter just the right questions for each essay to help her gain greater insight into what she was actually trying to convey in response to each prompt. He had a keen understanding as to the purpose behind the various prompts and he helped her creatively formulate her ideas.
