Hello! I am a former marketing executive, now a communications consultant, writer and editor. A significant part of my practice is helping students with application essays, academic papers, personal statements and resumes. I also teach Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

Hello! I am a former marketing executive, now a communications consultant, writer and editor. A significant part of my practice is helping students with application essays, academic papers, personal statements and resumes. I also teach Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

I was an English major at Williams College (U.S. News and World Report's #1 National Liberal Arts College). Highlights of my personal writing career include: authoring proposals that won more than $200 million in business contracts; crafting prospectuses that raised over $100 million in public stock offerings; and publishing numerous thought leadership articles in trade and national media.

I have been a marketing executive with publicly traded companies for more than 20 years, most recently as Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Communications at I.D. Systems (Nasdaq: IDSY), a leading provider of wireless technology and software for supply chain applications. My career highlights include: winning >$200 million in business from Fortune 1000 customers through RFP responses and customized marketing tools; raising >$100 million in public stock offerings by writing prospectuses and creating investor presentations; and establishing executive thought leadership by publishing articles, earning editorial coverage, scripting industry speaking engagements and winning industry awards. Currently I am the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of my own marketing communications business, with clients across a diverse range of industries, from education and nonprofit, to energy and technology, to private equity and real estate. My expertise includes digital content generation, PR, investor relations, product management, sales/marketing process integration, and marketing-driven revenue generation. I have a B.A. in English from Williams College, currently U.S. News and World Report's #1-ranked National Liberal Arts College.
