I was a Biochemistry major and have a Masters in the Biomedical sciences. I have taken and excelled in various upper division biology courses and statistics courses. My masters thesis focused on using computational statistical methods to build a classifier for bacterial strains. I excelled on the MCAT having scored in the 95th percentile. I am currently in medical school
I taught ESL courses at a local community college for 2 years. I speak fluently two languages, Spanish and English. My first tongue was Spanish, thus am able to connect well with ESL students.
