I recently graduated from West Chester University with a Master's Degree in philosophy. I also took two courses at the graduate level in European history. I have presented papers at local, national, and international conferences in the fields of both philosophy and history. My undergraduate degree is from Kutztown University with a major in philosophy and minors in literature, history, and geography.
In the past I have tutored undergraduates in critical thinking and history. I have also tutored a graduate student in English on how to write more effectively.
The best part of tutoring for me is when the student receives a good grade in his or her class and they are very appreciative.

I have taken 21 credit hours in literature and was inducted into the English Honor Society as an undergraduate. I frequently re-read short stories and books in American and World literature from Washington Irving to Dostoyevski and Kafka.

I believe I am able to distill the relevant facts and ideas from the mountains of information, and give a clear and coherent understanding of it to a student.

I believe any student, regardless of level, can succeed in a school setting. My experience as a student will help guide the student to favorable outcomes.
