Hey,

I'm Mahen and I've been working with youth and adults since 2003.

I graduated from NCSSM and then from NCSU with degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, and a minor in Psychology. I took other courses per my interests (i.e., accounting, athletic training, British literature, undergraduate research [EcoCAR: The NeXt Challenge*], etc.). *My team optimized the electronic cooling system design (i.e., programmed the ECU via Simulink) for a modified diesel hybrid...

Hey,

I'm Mahen and I've been working with youth and adults since 2003.

I graduated from NCSSM and then from NCSU with degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, and a minor in Psychology. I took other courses per my interests (i.e., accounting, athletic training, British literature, undergraduate research [EcoCAR: The NeXt Challenge*], etc.). *My team optimized the electronic cooling system design (i.e., programmed the ECU via Simulink) for a modified diesel hybrid vehicle.

I received tutor certification through NTA.

My leadership training includes: LeaderShape, Advance Leaders Program, CSLEPS Visionary Leadership Certificate workshops, and Shelton Leadership Forum. I am certified in psychological first aid, mental health first aid, and disaster caplaincy.

I have a Masters of Education (M.Ed., in Advanced Teaching).

My practice uses inclusive curriculum design to develop independent learners.

In the past, I started and oversaw a free community tutoring program.

I've done B2B (wholesale/distribution) and B2C (FBA, FBM, malls, etc.), with private-labelling and reselling, with training from mentors, Amazing Selling Machine, and other programs designed for branding, marketing, and scaling.

I am a Master Trainer (ISSA), with six certifications: Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutritionist, Transformation Specialist, Certified Genetics-Based Program Designer, Certified Health Coach, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

I am a certified coach with focus in: life, academic, transformation, fitness, nutrition, wellness, relationships, emotional balance, confidence, business, and purpose.

Time is our most valuable asset and we exchange bits of it for things. I invest my time into facilitating personal and professional growth for others. I enjoy sports and working with people. In my "free time", I am with family and friends, learning something, or reflecting. As a Muslim, this lifestyle brings much contentment.

Excellent and Very Patient! Mahen gave my son's organizational tidbits as well as additional study skills. He is also tutoring in Chemistry, Math 2 and Math 3.

Great tutor!!!

I reached out to Mahen when I realized that I would need help with online Statistics. Math, of any sort, has never been a strong point for me. Mahen is very patient and able to present the information in a way that I can understand it. If I don't understand one approach, he's fast to respond with another. He is enthusiastic during sessions and shows a genuine interest in helping. He is also professional and responds appropriately. My grades and overall confidence for this class have improved significantly since we began our sessions.
