Hi, I'm Emily, a fourth-year medical student, graduating at the top of my medical school class with a 4.0 GPA. With an NBME STEP 2 score of 273 (98th percentile) and pass for NBME STEP 1 (pass/fail grading), I bring a deep understanding of medical concepts to the table. Hi, I'm Emily, a fourth-year medical student, graduating at the top of my medical school class with a 4.0 GPA. With an NBME STEP 2 score of 273 (98th percentile) and pass for NBME STEP 1 (pass/fail grading), I bring a deep understanding of medical concepts to the table. I've consistently earned Honors in every rotation during medical school and earned A's on all of my NBME Shelf Clerkship exams.

I graduated from the University of Florida with a 4.0 GPA in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. I was a teaching assistant at the University of Florida for Organic Chemistry 2 where I led 200-person review sessions and was a supplemental instructor for Biochemistry. I was also hired by the University of Florida’s Athletic Department Tutoring Center to tutor the UF athletes in pre-med classes. I am currently a tutor through my medical school where I tutor students both individually and in groups in medical school courses.

My tutoring philosophy revolves around breaking down complex information into clear, concise information for my students to easily understand. I foster a profound understanding of core concepts and test-taking strategies, enabling my students to reach their full potential and achieve their academic goals. I also will help you create study habits and study schedules.

Super Super Helpful for USMLE Step 1 Prep!

Emily has been helping me go over questions and concepts from UWorld, NBMEs, etc. in addition to adding her own high yield tips and information I should know for the test. I am super grateful for her help and flexibility. Emily makes concepts very easy to understand and places an emphasis on understanding rather than memorizing. She has recommend countless resources for specific topics I have trouble with and is super knowledgable on what Step 1 likes to test on. I highly recommend her for any medical student studying during basic sciences and for step 1. She is better than many professors I've had before!
