I taught Juniors and Seniors English Literature in NJ for 3+ years before moving to Florida. I also have a BA in Psychology from USF Sarasota/Manatee.

I also minored in American and World History and have an Honor's Concentration in Film Studies to go along with my BA in Secondary Education/English from Rowan University.

I have been tutoring people since I was a junior in high school when I helped a classmate to pass the mid term and final in English Lit that year. I continued tutoring other members of my soccer team in college to help make sure they were academically eligible to play.

I scored a 740 on the verbal section of the SAT's and I have experience in being the Creative Writing teacher in a high school where part of the description was I was also to help anyone who requested it with their college essay's or the state writing test.

Part of the tutoring I did in college was in classes varying from College Composition, European History, Psychology, basically any subject that isn't math or number based.

I start out by figuring out the best way a student learns and than tailor my tutoring approach to maximize both of our times.
