I am a Harvard College and Harvard Law School graduate, an entrepreneur in multiple businesses, a former large-firm lawyer who has taught at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles and Kendall College in Chicago, and someone who is passionate about sharing and building professional and academic skills for others.

Highlights from my work include coaching a financial controller to enhanced executive presence and a CFO role, and coaching a high school student to a 230-point increase on the SAT and increased self-confidence.

I have been teaching unofficially ever since I was 2 1/2 years old and my little sister was born! I have been teaching and coaching professionally since 2014, including in private customized sessions with professionals, MBA students, college students, and high school students.

In addition, I have been an alumni interviewer for Harvard College for many years.

And: I love grammar. : )

I can help you with not only content but technique: how to spot tricks and traps, and how to look at problems through a conceptual lens to save time, so that you don't actually have to do a lot of math to succeed in Math.

I have always had a love of language, and this can benefit you because I can show you how to identify the thesis or viewpoint in any work of literature, or how to create a thesis for any essay you need to write.

In part because I have been an alumni interviewer for Harvard for years, I know what colleges are looking for, and I can help you tell your story authentically. Also, I can help you decide which colleges will make you happiest, based on your own personality and preferences.

Side note: I rarely watch TV anymore but saw a recent episode of the newest Law and Order series and had some significant critiques; the original episodes were a great deal more solid.
