I am an experienced high school English teacher with a B.A. in English Literature. I have tutored students of all ages, from elementary school to graduate school. I have taught and tutored students in the English language, English literature, writing, reading, English grammar and vocabulary.
I love working one-on-one with students to set goals and help students strengthen their skills and become more confident readers, writers, and thinkers. In our first session, we will set the groundwork for future work, learning about each other and your goals, skills, and interests as a student. Then, we work collaboratively on the goals that we have identified together, tracking progress and we go in and checking in periodically to make sure that progress is being made and note any changes that would best help you learn. One thing that I love about tutoring is being able to work as a team with students and embark on the learning journey together.
