I've been a certified Pennsylvania teacher for twelve years. In that time, I've taught multiple grade levels including 8th through 12th grade. I've also taught in both urban and suburban settings and pride myself in making great connections with all types of learners. I'm experienced in preparing students for state exams, essay writing, and reading comprehension strategies.

I really enjoy working one-on-one with students and helping them find confidence and develop skills that really can apply to multiple subject areas and life skills. I encourage students to think about themselves like a tradesmen with a toolbox. My job is to teach students what tools are in their toolbox and when it's best to use them.

And something unique to know about me is that prior to becoming a teacher, I was a radio deejay for several years. Personality and engagement has always been an innate skill and I look forward to finding fun and engaging ways to make learning easier! :)
