I have been successfully teaching and tutoring children since I graduated in 1975 from Bridgewater State University. I am one of those teachers who is doing what she always wanted to do and loves every minute of it. I am challenging, personal and fun. For example a scientist who adopted a child from Russia wasnt satisfied with her reading ability in 4th grade, at the expensive private school she was attending. The girl "hated" reading. I left that family, 9 months later, with their daughter getting up early in the morning so she had time to read before school and she was reading Harry Potter and loving it. I worked with her 1 or 2 hrs a week for that time period and was given one of the books autographed that the scientist wrote on whales as a gift of thanks for my efforts. I enjoy tutoring and usually work at the Bourne Library with flexible hours available Tues through Saturday.
