Hello My name is Robert and I am a classically trained artist with a bachelors in Art Education and over 30 hours of course work toward my masters in art education. I taught as a long term substitute teacher for two years before deciding to go into a career in the arts and for the past 7 years I have been making a living as an independent graphic designer, illustrator, and artist. I have extensive knowledge of classical art disciplines such as drawing and painting as well as my background in art education and may instruct on methodology elements and principles of art etc. I am equally comfortable engaging in instruction on physical art production, art theory, or art history and aesthetics I believe in a well rounded view of the arts and am well versed in all eras of art from classical to modern and post modern art. I have an eye for detail and believe that I bring an extra skill to the table by being a practicing artist who is currently making a living in the profession of the arts. I look forward to working with you and am excited to begin delving into the world of art with any student with a desire to hone their skills and knowledge in the arts.
