Hello potential students! My name is Lori and I have been working in the education field for 13+ years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Art and Performance and a Master's Degree in School Leadership. I developed a passion for reading and writing early in my life, and continued to explore that more in college. While going to school for art all my elective courses were in writing and literature giving me enough credits to earn a teaching certification in English Language Arts and Reading.

My first job out of college was tutoring elementary students in reading and writing. After only 2 weeks of working with the students, the teacher noticed that their scores had increased dramatically. She encouraged me to become a teacher, and I jumped at the chance to have my own classroom. For the next 8 years I taught English Language Arts and Reading in a middle school to students ranging from 12-16 years old. My favorite part of teaching is helping students understand concepts that were previously confusing to them.

After my 8th year of teaching I stepped out of the classroom and brought my teaching to online. For the past four years I have been teaching English as a second language to K-12 students all around the world. I enjoy the freedom working from home allows me, and I love meeting students from all over the world. I can't wait to meet even more students, just like you.
