Although I am native to the U.S., I have lived and worked in other countries, so I know what it feels like to learn a new language. I also speak several languages, so I understand the particular difficulties of certain speakers in learning English or French. I am an effective English and French tutor in Conversation, Grammar, Reading and Test Prep Skills. I can also tutor Hebrew. I prefer to tutor on Zoom or Facetime but am always available in person. My online rate is lower.

I have been with Sharon for several classes already and I am very impressed by her teaching. She is very experienced, knowledgeable, and patient. She really knows her stuff. Most importantly, she is very responsible and prepares a lot before class. That makes every minute of our class efficient. And I feel I learned a lot every time we meet. Although every American can speak very good English. But I don't think every native speaker can teach English well. My experiences were that even someone was very knowledgeable but if he or she didn't prepare beforehand, it would make the class not efficient and I couldn't learn a lot in one class. So I really care about teachers' preparations before class. And I think Sharon is just perfect and I am sure whoever will learn from her can definitely have a lot of improvements in quickest time. I am enjoying my class with Sharon a lot!

She was kind
It was easy to understand by using texts. The text that I could not do within hours got homework. She spoke very slowly. Her English to speak was easy to understand.I will do my best for the next lesson too.
