I substitute taught for all age groups for two years before I joined the army from 2005-2007. I have a bachelors degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in History (general track). I believe teachers should be flexible and tailor teaching methods to the student's learning style.

I am an outstanding communicator. Throughout my time in the military, my job was to take complex hypothesis, analyze them and break them down to the lowest common denominator so everybody in the room, no matter what level of education, could grasp the concept. Additionally, I am able to relate to and communicate with a wide array of various personalities.
