I am a Certified Public Accountant and a have a Master's in Accountancy and a MBA in Health Services Administration. I also have several years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level.

Hello: I'm Jim W. I have over thirty years of professional accounting experience in a variety of industries including manufacturing, service, not for profit and government. I am a Certified Public Accountant and a have a Master's in Accountancy and a MBA in Health Services Administration. I also have several years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level.

I strongly believe in life long learning. As such, I've taken at least one course on average since I first graduated from college (a long time ago). My education is always continuing and I plan to begin my Doctoral studies in Accountancy . Because of these experiences, I have a excellent understanding of student needs and their struggles. Outside of my professional practice, I have several years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level in: financial accounting, managerial accounting, intermediate accounting, tax accounting and Accounting Information Systems including Excel and Quickbooks Online.

The hardest part of my mba’s accounting and finance classes were the case studies. James did a great job walking me through everything it’s asking for and the solutions. I was able to go back to the spreadsheets we worked on and review how we completed the case as well as rewatch our session when I couldn’t remember how we got a certain number.
