I was raised in Delano Minnesota alongside four brothers. From elementary school on I took an avid interest in reading, sports, and learning. After an agonizing period of indecision (due to my desire to play college sports) I decided to attend the University of Minnesota and give up my career in sports in favor of pursuing a relationship with God and a quality education.

During my college years I had the privilege of spending time in South Africa as well as Malawi coaching basketball and spending time at universities there. This experience was invaluable to me and has taught me the vital importance of bringing what I have been given to others. I have a strong passion for passing along what I have received!

I scored a 35 on my science portion of the ACT.

I studied French at the university level and have lived with French speakers for numerous years. I love learning language and learning how to learn language.

I have spent years and years of my life reading and writing. It is part of my job. I greatly enjoy the study of language, reading, and writing.

I am eager to work with you on whatever subject you are interested in. It will be a great experience!
