Hi I am Audrey! I graduated Ringling with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Art history Minor. I believe my education in art was foundational to my development as an artist and a person. Without it, I wouldn’t have had the chance to understand on a deeper level how imperative Art has been to humankind throughout time, and how important it is for people to express themselves through their chosen creative outlet.

During my time studying Fine Arts, I chose to focus my thesis around Art’s ability to reveal psychological states and that therapeutic quality it holds for the individual. I am passionate about teaching other people how to express themselves visually and through literature in order to connect to themselves on a deeper level, and as a result, sharing that deeper self with the world.

My test scores in English and literature have always been higher than the average and we’re always also my strongest subjects. My ability to edit other people’s work to fit grammatical standards has proven multiple times to improve test scores. I also consider reading and writing to be my biggest passion aside from art.

Art history and painting are my main focus in life and my greatest interest. I am well versed in art history ranging from prehistory art to contemporary art. My strongest period of knowledge is in modern art (1860-1970). I would consider myself able to teach these lessons well due to my renowned instructors at Ringling. Our liberal arts program is one of a kind. As a fine arts student, we were required to complete many interesting historical and cultural courses

I hope to connect with you soon! I offer courses that are a hybrid of a brief history lesson followed by a demonstration. I also offer just studio art lessons in painting or just art historical lessons. I’m excited to impart to you the knowledge that many respectable intellectuals have gifted me.
