I am currently studying environmental engineering at Cal Poly, and I will be graduating in June 2024, but staying in San Luis Obispo. I have over four years of tutoring experience at Mathnasium, Cal Poly, and volunteer tutoring for disadvantaged students. I have tutored math and science for students from kindergarten, all the way through college.

I enjoy teaching younger students, because I know the importance of not falling behind in core classes at a young age, and I love to present problems in a new way that gets kids excited about math. I also love teaching useful classes like algebra and trigonometry, because I still use these concepts daily in my engineering classes. My favorite thing to help students with is SAT/ACT math studying. I had a math tutor that was unhelpful and often incorrect when I was in high school and studying for the SAT, and now I know how to be effective, and also patient with students.

I am a creative and caring person, and I always make sure my students understand concepts before moving on. I think that it is extremely important for all struggling students to find a tutor, and get help as early as possible.
