Hello! I am a tutor and teacher with strong experience working in the classroom, and supporting students in a variety of subjects and content areas. I have taught and tutored students in Social Studies (US and Global History), middle and high school-level English/English Language Arts, middle school Mathematics, Algebra, as well as organization and executive functioning. As a teacher, I have gained invaluable knowledge serving in three school districts, while actively growing and developing as an educator. In my bag of teaching tools are strategies and techniques that help students create visuals for abstract concepts, read fiction and nonfiction texts closely and actively, problem solve, and produce strong pieces of writing. I strive to help students become stronger thinkers and learners, and I am dedicated to the success of all.

Teaching and tutoring began for me during high school, while informally helping friends and peers with Geometry and Calculus problem sets, Social Studies research papers and Science projects. I enjoyed helping others become successful in the classroom, and carried that same passion and dedication into my career as an educator. I am patient and will work hard to support the needs of each and every student.
